Harley sat quietly, her feet tucked under her and her elbow propped on the arm of the chair she sat in. She, Hotch, and Reid where being sent for follow up for the Jackson murder that had been cold for around six months. She sighed glancing at a clock and waiting for Reid and Hotch.

"Hey Im sorry we're so late, we had to get everything sorted. So, here is a copy of the case file," he handed over the case files to Harley and Reid and carried on filling them in on the case "Peter Jackson, 45, caucasion, was married for 3 years, before it ended, he was in the middle of divorce proceedings when he was murdered, no children and he worked as a bartender."

"We believe that the UnSub was between 30 and 40, also caucasion, he walks with a limp. We believe that he is a vunerable, weak, powerless man, that uses murders to strive for power. We found 3 other cases that matched his MO, but the trail went cold as we had a profile but no evidence or witnesses. All 4 victims were murdered at their place of work-Benny's Bar, La Cuisine, Ken's Pawn Shop and Crispy's Burger Bar-with the same level of torture. All of the victims were left to bleed out, and were found the next day."

"The other three, where they the same situation? Mid-Divorce, no kids?" Harley asked leaning back into her seat. "And how does this fit into my jurisdiction? Power un-subs aren't typically handicapped, 'special' people usually don't even become serial killers, and when they do it's the action that's their signature not the victim. And on the..." Harley paused. Higher end, or genius level people didn't have a general categorization. "Genius end of the spectrum, power is still a rare motive. They usually are more on the level of 'savior' or 'better the world'. It could be revenge but that doesn't coincide with power unless..." She drifted off in thought. Then shook her head. "Where the other three the same situation?" She asked wanting to make sure before she rambled on anymore.

"No, 1 had kids, another was married, and the last one was single. It appears he has skipped over the rountine and gone straight for random. Also, he fits into your end, because the second victims 13 year old kid was hinding in the closet and she saw the attack, and gave us a description, along with a very 'pleasant' describtion of calling the guy a 'retard'." Hotch sighed and leaned back in his chair "So, we ran with her, er, 'colorful' describtion and this is the profile we hit."

Harley sat back farther with a raised eyebrow. "That extremely odd." She paused. "Both the un-sub and the little girl who seems to think calling 911 isn't important." She shook her head. "Did they look the same?" She asked curiously. "If they where I can see how the pieces fit together, if not then we have a serious problem." If they had no similarities they had the equivalent of a true phsyco on their hands. "Oh, and who or what's profile?"

"They had the same hair color-brown-but thats the only connection so far, which is, slightly worrying. And the profile is, from the limited describtion and from the crime scenes, a caucasion male between 30 and 40, he walks with a limp, based on the footprints around the crimes scenes. We believe that he is a vunerable, weak, powerless man, that uses murders to strive for power. Also, that he feels limited remorse for the victims as he leaves them to bleed out rather than kill them outright." Hotch stopped and consulted his case file, and lent back into the chair with a sigh. "Other than that, I've got nothing more to tell you. Reid?"

Reid glanced up from the notepad, where he was hurridly scribbling down notes, and consulted his case file carefully before speaking. "I think that he possible doesn't have very good vision, or he was in a frenzy, because even when the victim was unconscious, he still missed the body several times, on each attack. Also, how does he miss someone hiding, because I doubt a 13 year old girl would be playing hide and go seek and all ready be in the closet, she obviously ran in there when he father was being attacked. Either that or, maybe the unsub feels for the girl, or he didn't want to kill her?" He stopped for a second and took a deep breath before continuing, "Also, i think he may be schizophrenic, because, unless he truely cannot control himself, in which case he would have been noticed before, he got to have something that switches on the violence in him, like a split personailty." Reid then glanced at Hotch nervously, realising he had been talking for a quite a while, and then buried himself back into his notes.

Harley looked up at Hotch. "Is it possible that instead of remorse, he gets his high from beating them, then just leaves?" 'Like most men.' Her mind continued. "And if he has bad eye site, that explains something." She said tilting her head to the side in thought. The she snapped back up straight. "Hotch, was there any event similar to this within the past...5 years?"

"Yes, its a possibility, remorse, a high, in this job you learn quickly that you should be open to new suggestions, and we've had both type of UnSub, and that would explain why he didn't cover their faces. Normally, if a killer feels remorse, he covers their faces, rather than just leave them, so it being a 'high' is extremly likely. And, there may have been, I'll get Garcia on it, why, what were you thinking?"

"If it's because of a high then I have a theory." She adjusted in her seat. "They where all killed at...wait..." She shook her head. "The Unsub is handicapped with bad vision, possibly lame. He's different and he knows it. Within the past five years give or take, it's possible he had someone, a white male, brown hair, in his workplace; harass him. He got tired of it and suddenly found his 'power'. He left the man to die not knowing what is he's done. After thinking about it he likes the feeling. He continues to do what it takes to get it, thus we have a serial killer on our hands."

"That works. A lot of Serial Killers start out by having a main 'stresser', thus starting their 'reign of terror'. Now, we just need to find him before he kills again." Hotch sighed, and rubbed his eyes and forhead. He hated cases like this. Against the clock cases. He always hated the feeling if they couldn't get to them in time, or the witing because they needed another victim to find the unsub.

Harley sat back quietly. "The girl...did she give a description of his looks? If she did, we can use it to see if anyone knows who he is." She paused thoughtfully. "Or we could..." She glanced to Reid.

Reid glanced up at Harley when she trailed off, and got her glance at him. "What?" He asked slightly nervously

Harley leaned over stretching as far as she could and picked up a strand of Reid's hair. She looked at him with her head tilted. "What shade is the victim's hair?" She asked biting her bottom lip softly before her eyes widened. The hand she was using to prop herself up on her chair slid off the arm. She let go of Reid's hair just in time to fall down between her and Reid's seats.
